The following drop-down menu allows you several options when working with a line item you have selected by “checking” it. Each is explained below:
Hide from Client: Hiding a line item from the client means it will not be shown in the client-facing version of the costing. However, the item’s pricing will still be included and added to the total pricing that the client sees.
Unhide from Client: If a line item has already been hidden from the client, click this button to unhide it and bring it back into view of the client.
Exclude from Totals: Select this button if you do NOT want the line item’s pricing to be included in the total pricing. The client still sees the line item and its pricing, but it is not added to the totals. This is especially helpful in the planning stages with the client, as various options and their pricing can be shown to the client without skewing the total pricing.
Include in Totals: If a line item has previously been excluded from the total pricing, select this button to add the line item’s pricing back into the totals.
Hide and Exclude: Selecting this will both hide the line item from view in the client-facing costing, as well as exclude its pricing from the total pricing.
Unhide and Include: If a line item has previously been selected to “Hide and Exclude” this reverses that, bringing the line item back into view of the client and including its pricing in the totals.
Change Profit Percent: This will change the profit percent for the checked line items and calculate a new price.
Change Commission Rate: This will change the commission rate for all checked line items and calculate new prices accordingly.
Delete: This will completely remove the line item (from both the user and client facing versions of the costing).
