To create a new lead, click on the green plus sign near the top left of the Leads Page in the CRM. Once you are on the new lead screen, you can either select an existing company (in which case information will auto-populate to save you time and effort) or add new account information. If you are just contacting a lead for the first time, you can add only the bare bones contact information and keep the process moving quickly.
Once you have entered the requisite account information for the lead and click save, you can add Events or To Dos to that lead by clicking on the buttons that appear below the main lead information or in the sidebar on the right side of the screen.
Once you are far enough along in the process, you can click on the "Convert Lead" tab in the sidebar on the right side of the screen. A popup will appear where you can add the required information for the opportunity. Once you click "Save" at the bottom of the popup window, your new opportunity will be available in your VIPER dashboard.
