Using the "Mass Edit" feature in CRM, you can modify multiple records at once. Note that Mass Edit is only available to CRM users with Admin privileges.
1. Find the records that you wish to modify. For instance you may want to modify all Contacts linked to a certain Account, such as all Contacts linked to General Motors. Go to the Contacts module and search for contacts that have "general motors" in the account name. Check the records that you wish to update and click the [Mass Edit] button.
2. In the Mass Edit popup, place a checkmark next to the fields you'd like to update and select/enter values. In the screenshot below, we are setting the status of all checked records to "Customer" and assigning all checked records to James Huser. Click [Save] to update all checked records.
